104-Year-Old Film of San Francisco (via cleaverb)

Apparently shot mere days before the devastating earthquake of 1906, there is something wonderfully vibrant about this that I like. 

I first saw this through a post at altgate.com, which also features has a contemporary video of a trip along the same route from 2005.
